Dr. Souheil Haddad is co-founder, Medical Director and member of the Board of Directors of the Patient Education Institute. While continuing to practice neurosurgery at the Neurosurgical Clinic of Bloomington, Indiana, Souheil directs all medical editorial projects and coordinates the activities of the Medical Advisory Board of PEI. Souheil received his BS and MD degrees from the American University of Beirut in 1982 and 1986, respectively.

Souheil received his neurosurgical training at the University of Iowa from 1986 to 1992. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurosurgery and member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, American Medical Association, American Association of Neurological Surgery, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and Indiana State Medical Association.
