Paula Cox has decades of experience working with families and children. She has been actively involved in community associations and volunteer positions. In her many roles, she has served as President of the local Parent Teachers Association, as well as President of a Mother's Bowling League for Children. Paula has offered her services as a Sunday School Teacher, Girl Scout Leader and has tutored elementary-school children to improve their reading skills.

Paula has also worked as a Substance Abuse and Emergency Services Assistant at an Adult and Child Mental Health Center. Paula's extensive, varied experience and dedication to volunteerism is an asset to the Heart of Sailing Foundation. As the Foundation's Services Coordinator, Paula is the primary contact for mental health organizations and educational facilities who are interested in booking day-sails for children. Agencies may submit their inquiries and requests for information through our various contact sources. Paula will mail our information packet, including informational DVD, to interested organizations and will coordinate all reservations. Paula is available to answer questions about the Heart of Sailing Foundation, its mission, and the planned sailing routes.

Paula is the mother of 3 adult children, grandmother of 7, and great-grandmother of 2. Her warmth and eagerness endear her to all who have the privilege of working with her. When she's not busy volunteering, Paula enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and her hobbies include reading, boating, theater and music. |
